Probate administration of John Tilsed of Holdenhurst, Hampshire, mariner (1730AD/130)

The 14th day of December in the year of our Lord 1730

On this day the administration of all the goods, rights and credits of John Tilsed, late of Holdenhurst in the county of Southampton and the diocese of Winchester, sailor, deceased, was granted to Mary Luxwell, the lawful mother of the said deceased. And the said Mary made oath that all the goods, rights and credits of the said deceased do not amount to the sum of £20 as it is believed.

On this day the administration of all and singular the goods, rights and credits of John Tilsed, late of Holdenhurst in the county of Southampton, mariner, and in the diocese of Winchester, having died intestate, was granted to Elizabeth wife of Thomas Jacob of Middle Gussage in the county of Dorset, yeoman, late Elizabeth Tilsed, sister of the aforesaid John. And that all the goods, rights and credits of the said deceased do not amount to the sum of £20 as it is believed.
